“These are a few of my favorite things…”

I selected #18. Now I smell like Tristan Tzara!

“KRIGLER”

I’m trying to beat that old-mannish smell

With a scent that rings-up quite dear

The company calls itself KRIGLER

Not a name that you often will hear

You can waft along like good Cary Grant

That’s his #24

But if F. Scott Fitz is more to your schtick

(Also worn by M. Dietrich)

Then #14 is your new du jour

JFK had his #31

Jackie O. her #55

Throw it all at the wall, needs be,

To feel, and to smell, more alive

Having tried and applied so many of these,

I felt confused and a little ashamed

Until I asked her which was the fragrance

That had amped-up Red Skelton’s game

When her eyes they steadily narrowed,

Her lips they formed a full pout,

And lifting her chin ever so regally

She pointed and kicked me straight out!

Much of my career in radiology has been spent studying, with great fascination, the internal mechanisms of the human body. This blog is an effort to expand that view to the outside world and also to map my own experiences engaging with it.
