“Leavitt the Liar Takes Her Leave”

Richard III, Duke of Gloucester, from Shakepeare’s Henry VI, Part III (Act III, Scene 2):

“Why, I can smile, and murder whiles I smile,
And cry ‘Content’ to that which grieves my heart,
And wet my cheeks with artificial tears,
And frame my face to all occasions.
I’ll drown more sailors than the mermaid shall;
I’ll slay more gazers than the basilisk;
I’ll play the orator as well as Nestor,
Deceive more slily than Ulysses could,
And, like a Sinon, take another Troy.
I can add colours to the chameleon,
Change shapes with Proteus for advantages,
And set the murderous Machiavel to school…”

Good fucking riddance to you, Leavitt the Liar! Enjoy your lonely slide into history’s dustbin as one of the many footnoted fools composing that servile collective of lying and obfuscating douchebags, opportunists and enablers who have propped up the miscreant Mango Mussolini (hat tip to Rosie O’Donnell). You have thoroughly disgraced yourself in service to a deeply corrupt president and his political cause. You have done untold damage to our democracy and its essential discourse with your Soviet-style propaganda. No amount of whataboutism can excuse your utter disdain for facts and the truth. Simply put, you have failed both your country and yourself. Hopefully, some day you will see the folly of your ways and make amends (talk to Anthony Scaramucci). Until that day, however, please just fuck off…!!

Much of my career in radiology has been spent studying, with great fascination, the internal mechanisms of the human body. This blog is an effort to expand that view to the outside world and also to map my own experiences engaging with it.
